Travis Kauffman
Travis Kauffman (born August 21, 1985) is an American heavyweight boxer nicknamed "My Time". His current record is 30-1 (22 KO). In his career he's picked up 3 minor titles, wbf inter belt, wbu inter, and the wba fedelatin belt.
==Professional career==
Kauffman made his pro debut in 2006. On December 5, 2008, Kauffman made his national TV debut with a third round knockout of once-beaten Malachy Farrell on ShoBox: The New Generation. Kauffman followed that performance up with a pair of early knockouts against clubfighters Cliff Couser and southpaw Livin Castillo. In 2009 he was KO'd by Tony Grano. Kauffman asked Grano for a rematch, but was turned down several times. He then fought Mike Miller winning a shutout unanimous decision. Then he knocked out Ohio's hard-punching Chris Koval in a two-round destruction and picked up the WBF inter title. He has recently signed a promotional agreement with The Empire Sports and Entertainment. He was later released by Empire and then re-signed with same promotor in 2012 under a different name: Greg Cohen Promotions. Kauffman is now 21-1 with 16 KOs. On December 17, 2010 he fought Ross Thompson and won by DQ. Then Kauffman fought Sean Williams, who he KO'd in 1 round. Kauffman fought Charles Davis, winning a 7-round UD caused stoppage due to rain. Travis' last fight was in February 2013 vs Willie Perryman that ended in a 2-round KO win that put Travis Kauffman to 24-1, 18 KOs. Now he is rated number 14 by the WBA. Travis won an 8-round UD over Arron lyons in August, then in September beat Stacy Frazier in 2 short rounds, breaking Frazier's ribs, to move to 26-1, 19 KOs, rank 10th by WBA. Travis fought Jason barnett November 30, breaking his ribs in 1 round for a ko win and the wbu inter heavyweight title. Travis took on Vincent Thompson January 25, 2014, outworking him over 10 rounds, winning the wba fedelatin title that will be travis 3 minor belt hes picked up. Kauffman is now on a 10-fight win streak. Also Kauffman has started to work with trainer Nassim Richardson and has help from Al cole a former cruiser weight titlist. Travis now 28 years of age is moving up the ranks wba 9th looking to get into top 5 with latest win.
